Growing up in San Diego as an only child to Iranian immigrants, I discovered my knack for comedy when I would make the neighborhood bullies laugh, ultimately saving me from getting beaten up throughout my formative years. After graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara, I moved to Los Angeles, where I now spend most of my time performing standup, writing TV pilots, and filming my own comedy sketches. Currently, I work as a 5th-grade teacher at an all-boys school, and am incredibly eager for the next big step. I’m looking for an opportunity to support a writers’ room, whether that be for commercials or TV shows. I incorporate my unique upbringing and outlandish style of writing into my comedy, so I’m guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on the viewer.
I am boundary-pushing.
I am unapologetically myself.
I am Kia Noori.
